PRIME TIME CATCHING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Prime Time Catching is the first event of its kind customized for training, showcasing, and competition among the best catchers in the state. This event is an invite-only -- with players from each high school class participating. The event will consist of two 2-hour training sessions per week for four weeks at Lakeside Baseball Club in Detroit. The final session will be showcase-style. Each participant is guaranteed 16 hours of training, a two-minute video package including stats & metrics, highlights from the camp, and a chance to blend competition with high-level training, instruction, and exposure. An All-State trophy will be awarded to four catchers, one per class, at the end of the four weeks.

Instructors will be Brandon Justice & Bobby Cavin.  Brandon Justice was formally the catching coach at Saginaw Valley State University and is now both the Director of Baseball Operations at Lakeside Baseball Club and a Varsity Assistant at Grosse Pointe South.

Bobby Cavin is a college catcher with Division I experience at the position as well as coaching experience as a local instructor.
